2.3MW PV + 5.0MWh Grid-Tied BESS in Callao, Peru

In March 2025, Sunpal commissioned a 2.3MW N-type PV and 5.0MWh LiFePO₄ BESS system in Callao’s coastal industrial zone, Peru. Engineered for high-salinity and humidity, the system features anti-corrosion mounting structures, IP66-rated components, and fully sealed enclosures to withstand harsh marine conditions. Integrated with the local grid, it enables peak shaving, enhances grid stability, and significantly reduces electricity costs for marine-adjacent manufacturing facilities.

INTRODUCTION

Sunpal engineered Chad’s first solar power plant—a turnkey microgrid synchronizing 1.5MW N-type PV with a 4.2MWh LiFePO₄ BESS.
